Blaenau Gwent Family Information Service (FIS) is the first point of contact for the Children’s Services Early Years Team. The service provides free and impartial advice, information and guidance for children, young people, and their families in Blaenau Gwent.

This includes advice on:

> Registered childcare providers

> Careers in early years, childcare and play

> Help with the costs of childcare

> Parent and Toddler groups

> Local family friendly events/leisure activities

> Information on Flying Start areas

Blaenau Gwent Family Information Service is based at The Integrated Children’s Centre, High Street, Blaina, Blaenau Gwent, NP13 3BN

You can call us on 0800 032 3339. Someone will be available Monday – Thursday (9am – 5pm) and Friday (9am – 4:30pm). Alternatively, you can email FIS@Blaenau-Gwent.gov.uk or drop us a message on one of our social media channels. 

An answer phone service is also available for an out of hours service, if you leave your name and number, someone will get back to you.
