Why do we need to worry about sugar?
Too much sugar can be harmful to children’s health. It can lead to the build-up of harmful fat on the inside. This can lead to weight gain, heart disease, cancers and diseases like type 2 diabetes.

How can you cut down on the sugar you’re consuming?
Only consume 1 glass of juice a day (125ml).

Avoid consuming sugary drinks. Swap them out for water or milk! For grown-ups, you can also swap them for tea or coffee”!
Add fruit to your snack for that extra flavour! You could add chopped fruit to your yoghurt or add sliced banana to your toast.
