Families First is a Welsh Government programme that supports families facing challenges, focusing on prevention and early help, especially for those living in poverty.

The Blaenau Gwent team offers tailored support for all families, including those with children who have additional needs.

They run:

• Inclusive Youth Club for ages 0–25 at Pen-Y-Cwm School, Tuesdays 3:30–5:30pm. Contact Thomas Brain: Thomas.Brain@blaenau-gwent.gov.uk.

• Parent/Carer Support Group for families of children with additional needs: Last Wednesday of each month, Blaina ICC, 9:30–11:10am.
